Thank you for sharing! On this topic, I was really close to buying a Zelos Great White until I read about all of the quality control issues associated with this brand. Many consumers had to return their watches as soon as they received them because of various mechanical problems. Thankfully, Zelos has excellent customer service (from what I read), and replaces watches instantly at no cost to you. But I would not want to deal with the hassle of sending watches back and forth all the time. It's a shame because they make some stunning timepieces, but beware and buy at your own risk!
On the flip side, I've owned more Zelos watches then I care to admit, and have had nary an issue. (One clasp micro adjustment was acting up, so he sent me a new one.... But that's it - over 20 watches... not a single mechanical issue) If the watches are of interest to you, it would be a shame to miss out due to "internet rumors". :)

I have that one and wore it yesterday. These prices have gone way up over the last couple of years, but I like the watch. Generally wear it on other straps vs the brown.

I received one of these Invicta 1953s for Christmas and agree, it's a wonderfully charming little piece. My non watch-obsessed family was also duly impressed that I received an Invicta. :D

By way of new deals, Zelos just announced a new line of Spearfish watches which are like the Swordfish but with a movement upgrade. Sale starts on 2/15, with what appears to be a $100 discount during the first month.

I second this, though I've only purchased 2 Zelos watches thus far. If anything, the quality of both exceeded my expectations.

If you follow the Facebook group for zelos you’ll see things come up fairly regularly but Elshan seems to make it right each time.

I think Watches and Timekeepers would be a great place to start brand-specific discussions, Zelos or otherwise. https://www.manontime.com/viewforum.php?f=5

*Really* dig that dial. It is now showing me oos, and I don't see it elsewhere. But FWIW, there is a silver colorway (that is also oos), model 1-1394B. I mention it in case anybody plans to keep an eye out for these. 37mm seems kind of large for a tank (mine is 27mm), but a big dude could rock it. Ashford also says: 25mm lug width, 51mm L2L -- a little smaller than my big G-Shock, lol.

Look but don't touch: also oos. :-(

$109.99. Looks to be a model from 2010 that is no longer available anywhere else. Maybe an NOS warehouse find?
