However, here is a bastardized version of the Airman. In addition to being quartz, it doesn't have the inner 24-hour track. Still, I'd choose this over a quartz Combat for the same price point.

Long story as to how I saw the sale restocked randomly at a time you would all laugh. But I got it!

Tonneau bargain. 25mm x 6mm, 16mm lug width (so male wrist compatible). 50m WR. Sapphire crystal. Calf leather strap (mention it only because it looks like felt). $41.83. Many colorways available.

My 27mm tank is a good fit for its shape, so perhaps 25mm is a suitable man's size for this elongated case. I bought a Paul Hewitt deal once on GooRoo and I liked the quality for the price. Its strap was "Made in Germany," and judging by the other straps they sell that seems to be common. Their web site says they were founded in Germany, so QED.
