Let's make a big distinction here:

Jomashop isn't an AD, Ormoda is.

Yes, you can save money buying from Joma, I just hope you don't have any issues down the road. If you do, you will be completely on your own.

If buying at the lowest price, to resell at the highest possible profit later down the line, is your only factor for your watch collecting. Then ya, Joma will be your best bet.

If you really like a watch, and plan to keep it, the extra $$ upfront buying from Ormoda will be well worth it.

YMMV
I wish this site had a thumbs down option, because I would use that feature on your post. No way in hell I'd pay an extra $100 for a sub $400 watch in order to get it from an AD. There are plenty of accounts where ADs fail to respond to reasonable requests. For example, I bought a Ball watch from River Edge, a Ball AD. Totally worthless a-holes. Fortunately, they're gone now.

Anyway, this might be deal on a SEIKO SRPB43 Men's PRESAGE Automatic Watch.

Hey everyone.

We all have our opinions. We all make our purchasing decisions differently.

The key factor is we should be respectful of each other.
Not making any accusations, just pointing it out.

Let's have a little less commentary if you don't mind.
And please keep those deals coming.

Speaking of deals....

Fox's Seattle jewelry store is going out of business.

The only watch they have on their site is 20% off. Though that discount should go higher the closer to their final days.

Nomos Tangente 38, model #164
Sale price is $1,864
List price is $2,330

Just pointing out that the $289 one is used (look at the top right). New is $318.

TIP: The new Amazon Buy Box is suppressed. This often means that an Amazon competitor has a lower price, but I'm not seeing anything from the normal suspects. Most sites are right at $319.

GreenToe is $302 if you want to go that route.

OK

We’ve all observed a dynamic that can best be described as “friction” for some time, measured in years.

I believe you love watches and watch deals as much as anyone anywhere and I want to see you happily continue to express that passion and share it with others, including me, on this forum because you have a lot to share.

You have two options:

1.) Inject a higher degree of personalism and humility with folks here,

or…

2.) Continue with the mindset that we need down votes because we’re not on the same page.

I’m humbly requesting that we all reflect on what I’m talking about.

DEAL

Now, an accessory that is very unique and very limited. The author, Andre Stikkers, is a major, major contributor of Glycine love on many watch forums. He is a personal friend of Stephen Lack, the former owner of Glycine, and has access to Glycine records that detail everything you can imagine about the history of Glycine, down to the serial numbers of all of the watches they made over their very long history.

Years ago I was heavily involved in many different watch brands and was fortunate to have Andre send me a copy of this book. It is a very special book written by a very special guy.

There is apparently one copy left and I encourage anyone who loves watches to try and jump on this for only $25.

If you ever have specific questions about vintage Glycines or anything you cannot find related to Glycine, you can email Andre at astikkers@gmail.com. Nicest guy you’ll ever meet.

A beautiful grab-and-go Hamilton quartz chronograph. I believe the case is the same as the $2,000+ silicon-movement auto. A deal at this price.

$319.49 with code “FB10”.

MSRP is $745, so 57% off.

I bought the book last night and checked immediately after buying to see if it was really sold out. eBay did indeed say it was sold out. But I checked again this morning and there's another one. So if you missed out you have another chance. To be clear, I did not buy the book because I thought I was getting the last one. There could have been 1,000 and I would have bought one. Needless to say, I'm a Glycine fan.

I just ordered this Glycine Airman Noon from Ashford for $539. Might not be the best price ever but I would still consider it a deal.
