I live in central KY, an hour south of Cincinnati. Southern KY has different weather and has been getting green for weeks, but we’re still not seeing any trees coming out yet. It’s been a long winter for me this year. Fought off some pretty serious mental health issues this time. I think I need to go south for my sanity.

I cannot even imagine living even 2 hours north, much less in Canada. I have been all over Canada, but never in winter.

Yeah I hear ya. When it's always snowing and cloudy you get super bored inside all the time. It's supposed to snow here tomorrow again lol.

Southern ME/NH border checking in. We just lost the rest of the snow in the yard. 40mi north at my lake house the ice is still 20" thick

I sort of understand, but as someone who grew up in this climate, I absolutely love it.

I also have relatives in east-central Alberta, and I've spent a fair amount of time there.

They get less snow per season than we do here in Minneapolis.

Up to 15" is what I just heard, with a worst-case-scenario of 36" by Sunday.

Bring it on, I say.
