I bought a Sea Wolf 53 from Watchstation and had to return it because the date would only flip half way. The return went smoothly, and I don't generalize based on a single event, but it make me wonder if I got unlucky or if there was a trend. Also, it was my first STP1-11 movement so I wondered about that.

I've got the black version of that and I really like it for that price.

Actually want a stainless version without the chrono because the UHF is kind of lost on this when you don't get to see the sweeping second hand (since it's on the 6pm dial in the chrono). But they seem to have gone up after being discontinued.

Bargain, not deal. Fairly new eBay seller w/ good ratings advertising a SNZG09J1, and the photo shows "Made in Japan" on the dial. $99 (or Make Offer) incl. free shipping and 3-year Seiko warranty. 30 day returns.

My only concern would be whether it's legit -- it doesn't look shady, but they're new (since January) and that seems like an unusual deal to me. OTOH, MyGiftStop on eBay has a K model w/ warranty for $97 here (it is $88 on their site after code here), so I guess it isn't that big a deal. List: $250.

If I got it, I would pair it with a Bond nato like Bbrou33 does here.
