Watched Caddyshack last night. Cindy Morgan was one of my first crushes as a kid. The movie was still funny to me.

Felt like adding this one just because.....well, because I think it's funny coming from Rodney Dangerfield.

I watched Caddyshack for the first time in many years at the beginning of a 10-12hr international flight. I started cracking up before the intro ended...I think when the groundhog started dancing. I’ll never forget the look on the face of the lady beside me, as in, “this is gonna be a really long flight.”

Just finished watching Shanghai on Amazon Prime with John Cusack and it was pretty good. It is a Noir, War Time Spy Thriller.

My son and I saw Spiderman: Far From home Thursday. It was an excellent Super hero action flick And Jake G. plays a good (spoiler) Villain!

I mean he's Mysterio. Everyone knows he's a Bad guy. Well, everyone who ever read the comics and watched the cartoons.

Annihilation with Natalie Portman. Different. Entertaining. I rate with a thumb and it gets a thumbs up.

Arbitrage with Richard “The Gerbil” Gere. Entertaining enough for a thumb up, but I didn’t care for the ending.

Watched two movies yesterday. First was Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston on Netflix. I thought it was pretty good for a Netflix and Happy Madison movie. Would recommend watching when you need something to watch.
Second movie was The Highwaymen with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson on Netflix. It's about the Texas Rangers who trailed Bonnie and Clyde and eventually "caught" them. I really liked this one.

Cool thanks. I might check this one out. Woody Harrelson is one of my all-time favorite actors and that sounds like a movie that might interest me. While I'm mentioning favorite actors, there are plenty, but John Goodman comes to mind too. Big fan of both of those guys.

Came across some Mr. Moto movies at the local library this weekend and watched all these back to back. I like these 1930's Serial movies that last an hour.

Mr. Moto takes a Vacation
Mr. Moto in Danger island
Mr. Moto's Last Warning
Mr. Moto takes a chance
Mr. Moto's Gamble

These are right there with movie serials like "The Saint" with George Sanders, "The Falcon" with George Sanders and then his real life brother Tom Conway. And then there are the Boston Blackie movies and one of my favorites, "The Lone Wolf Series with Warren William. He also played Perry Mason in a few serial movies that were pretty good.

I love old black and white movies and these are decent entertainment for what they are.

My son just watched "Terminator" with Ah-Nuld" for the first time today. He said it was good.

Just thought of a movie I watched on a flight recently and loved. It's a documentary about a free climber. Free Solo. I loved it. My heart was pounding on the flight and I shed some tears.

I saw that on my flatscreen at home, but wish I had seen it on the big screen.

Io la conoscevo bene
I knew her well (1965)

This one is often compared to la Dolce Vita. That's fair, but it is a little darker. The plot is that a young woman goes to the big city and suffers indignity after indignity.

Stefania Sandrelli is just super; she is in such control of her features and voice that it's hard to believe she was still a teenager when this was made.
