Re: WRUW
In line at the car wash, so might as well take a wrist shot. Glycine Combat 7 Vintage on Zuludiver (Watch Gecko) MN-Style strap. Super comfy combo.

Finally sized the bracelet from the watch gecko mystery pack. Looks pretty good on a turtle.

Re: WRUW
This is definitely one of my favorite watches that I don't have. I've blown my watch budget for the foreseeable future, but I'll get one sometime.

A no-date field is one of my favorite styles. I was fortunate enough to get this one for $250 via a deal posted here, of course.

Re: WRUW
The black bracelet came in from Watchgecko today. I'm pleased with it overall. I think the curved links hug the case really well. There is however a 1/2mm gap between the link and the lugs which causes a bit of a tinny "jangle" sound. I might get some of those tiny o-rings to try and dampen the sound.
Living a comeback montage.

Re: WRUW
Ok, so no need to get creative apparently. I just needed to learn how to adjust hollow end-links. (I mostly wear NATOs, so kind of a n00b when it comes to bracelets.) Terry's video helped me out. Took some needle nose pliers and tightened the loops that the spring bar goes through. Now the spring bars fit a lot tighter inside the link and there is hardly any rattle.peskydonut wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 8:37 pm The black bracelet came in from Watchgecko today. Re: WRUW
IMO the Presage line has some of the most beautiful dials currently produced. This green beauty is no exception!

Totally agree. Was going to post something similar. That picture really shows off the dial.watchpalooza wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 10:37 amIMO the Presage line has some of the most beautiful dials currently produced. This green beauty is no exception!

Re: WRUW
Was at an AD that had the Mockingbird and was surprised how much darker the green looks under certain lights. Not sure I need/want another Presage, but this is the strongest contender.

Re: WRUW
Thanks, here's the strap. Although it was only $8.55 when I bought it. It definitely looks a bit nicer than the Amazon pic. And it's very comfortable. It's soft and has a spongey or rubbery feel to it. Also, your Urushi dial is looking good on the bracelet. I thought about doing the same thing with the last RGM promo but ended up not buying anything. For now mine is staying on the suede strap.

Re: WRUW
We visited our last corn maze of the season, hence the background.
Just got this custom strap in yesterday, so put it in the CCCP I had it made for. I'll post more about the strap later.
