As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
Google Photos just automatically created this of young Peanut. (Daughter has lost naming rights on future family pets).
If it helps, Cat Face's legal name is also Peanut. When I found him at 6 weeks old, I didn't know if it was a boy or girl so went gender neutral. I continued to call him cat face, but the wife likes to confuse him and call him peanut butter cup. My wife has also lost pet naming privileges.
You should hear what she thinks would be good names for kids!

Hah.
Emily previously named our poodle "Tootsie". She kinda gets a pass on this one because she was only three at the time. Tootsie was all black to the point you couldn't take a picture of her and make out any features. Emily thought she looked like a Tootsie Roll.
Tootsie grayed up as she got older to where you could make her out in photos. Unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep about three weeks ago. She was 15. Blind, mostly deaf, and with a bad heart. She was the smartest little dog. She kind of attached herself to me because after we got married, I worked at home for a few years and she was at my feet all the time.
Cat face has a new nemesis. I don't know who this cat belongs to, but he is always in my yard. He is honestly super cool and very friendly. Cat face on the other hand is not very sure about having some rando behind enemy lines. So far no fights, but we will see. . .

Patches. I've had her for five years. She was abused by her person before me, but she likes people more than other dogs and i like dogs more than people, so we get along.

My dogs all loved people, even if that sometimes took a little helping along in the beginning. Incredibly forgiving creatures. I'm glad yours got away from that prior home.
Meanwhile, hearty snowfall + fluffy doofus = even worse pics than usual!
