Best price I see out there for this Maurice Lacroix mechanical chrono by close to $1,000

It's probably worth it. It's beautiful, and the caliber is incredibly stunning. But, even with discount, for +4kUSD (+1000EUR import tax in my case) there are many, many special watches.

Very few people would spend 16kUSD on an ML. The thing is that if, with that superb movement, it had another name on the dial, e.g. IWC, Cartier, etc. I don't think I would have any problem selling it at a much higher price.

Not necessarily a screaming deal, but could be a solid bargain and new mod base. Invicta just released this new 1953 diver and ShopHQ actually has them in-stock (unlike the Invicta site).

Interesting & tempting "vintagey" variant of the Pro Diver. Thanks for posting.

Two points of interest:
1. The Invicta model number is 31290 as found on invictawatch.com
2. It's a no-date dial even though the NH35A is a date/calendar movement. Presumably that functionality is there, but hidden.
