Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
I thought that I was going to have to claim a Command Module simulator exemption, but remembered that this came from the deals thread. How could I forget the Ergode fiasco of December 2019?

Wait, they are coming in blue now? That’s cool. Almost tempted...Rabirnie wrote:It’s the watch that got me into this beautiful rabbit/black hole. Can’t ask for anything more for a watch that cost $38. My wife has already asked when I’m buying the new blue dial. The joys of sharing an Amazon account.Split-Time wrote:Y'all are making me want one of those Casios. The strap changes look great. I guess of all of the watches to put on my radar, that is one I could get away with.Rabirnie wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 8:21 pm Beverage compliance with a beer I have been (unceremoniously) storing for nearly 4 years. I present, Brooklyn Brewing’s Black Chocolate Stout. The Imperial Stout that many others aspire to. Enjoying this as I wind down from a great day with friends and cheap Mexican cuisine (complete with proof of purchase courtesy of my 2 year old) with my trusty Casio MDV-106. Really should pair this watch with its newest siblings from Casio. @larand I’m digging your strap choice!

Haha, thanks bud. That cat you see there is baby Jesus. My dad (Joe, or Joseph) and his wife Mary got a cat and named him Jesus (they pronounce it hay-Zeus). But I call him sweet little 8 lb. 6 oz. Baby Jesus lying there in his manger.

Happy Mod Monday! (Or President's day or Family day or whatever). Hope the Legion had a good one and I present to you my offering of compliance with the 007 mod.

Fully compliant for Toolwatch Tuesday! You will have to take my word for it.
Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
I have been informed that this watch will always be LWDS compliant.
I wonder if the shoes would qualify as well?

Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

This is so funny...almost made the same post myself.
Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Well it’s not like we can just not wear a new watch. I might as well get a fun LWDS post out of it as well. Putting together my entry post now. I just need some really good pictures of it as I think that is what will help in a contest such as this. Story and specs will only get you so far, the voting public wants eye candy damnit.

Yep, any MoT themed watch is forever compliant. It was also purchased through the deal thread for double compliance every day.TheJohnP wrote:I have been informed that this watch will always be LWDS compliant.

It has a signed crown and Myota (Citizen Corp) for 4x compliance on Sundays.
Add in adult beverage, carnivore and Scoville compliance and you can have up to 7x.
The believe that these watches that I made are the only current ones with potential 7x, though I am unaware of anyone claiming the 6x to date.
Please correct me if I am mistaken or if I have forgotten a way to obtain compliance that could be applied.
Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)
Wait a second.
Are you good at Photoshop or are those the only shoes to give any watch auto compliance. Heck, I would say that you are compliant without a watch if you are wearing those shoes. Chuck’s aren’t my thing (I tried, but no arch support was extremely painful and I couldn’t get an insole in there without smashing my toes), but damn those are cool.

And if it wasn't for these, I would've had to give up Chucks years ago....
