I mentioned it briefly in the long post last night, but this Kontiki Quartz chrono bears mentioning again, as it uses the 27 jewel ETA caliber 251.262 and is only 296.10 with the CRR107JU code at Ashford, plus 3% from Rakuten brings it down to 287.22...really kind of a good price...

Plus here's a better picture, and the price is better using the better code...

These are B-Graded watch straps, there is inconsistency in colour due to the natural material and tanning process. There are no other problems with the watch straps, limited availability so get them whilst you can, when they are gone they're gone!

Still a hefty discount. I pulled the trigger on a Black Dartmouth and when paying with my credit card it was 633 GBP delivered. My credit card company will charge some currency conversion fee on top of this but that's usually far less than Paypal. With paypal my total was $828 but paying with the credit card is $777 USD + currrency fees (~$20 is what I am expecting) Hopefully this fuzzy math worked out right!

MLTD has some codes for some nice discounts. This will get some GShocks down to or better than grey market/eBay pricing on some models (such as the all metal black GShock square w/metal bracelet). It's an even better deal when you consider that eBay is charging tax now and MLTD doesn't appear to.

It looks much better centered and at 12:00 than it does left-justified and at 9:00.

Obviously tastes differ. Personally, I like this iteration the best. For some reason I prefer sans serif fonts on dials. Maybe because I favor more casual pieces (i.e. field watches) and serif fonts tend look "fancier". The branding at 9 was just too unbalanced for my liking.
