So bummed I missed the unveiling on Discord, but man this thing is sweet! Happy that you were able to snag one and make an honest woman out of her. Keep the pics coming!

Edit: when the world starts to get back to normal, I need to find one of these to try on in the flesh and see what all the fuss is about.

I got you bud. You can test drive mine anytime you want. Hope the new addition to the family, as well as the rest of you are doing great, and it makes me so happy to see that Mariana getting worn. Cheers bud!

I was timing some chicken nuggies on Seiko Saturday when my son asked if he could play my “froggie jumping game,” which is a mini Frogger from 1982 or 1983. :)

Invoking Carnivore Rule.
My daughter asked why I am putting watch on a ketchup bottle. I explained. 'Ah, time to catch-up' - she commented.

No compliance today. Took the kids to see the grandparents this weekend and only brought one watch. Not this one. Last night my parents gave me a bag of watches that were my grandpa's and this was one of them. He loved clocks and had a ton of grandfather, cuckoo clocks, and others. I didn't know he had a small watch collection. He had a bunch of pocket watches too. Don't mind the date. Anyone know if these have a quick date setting?

I have seen your other posts and still don't quite know what to say, but I know that it was very special of them to pass the collection along to you. They will stay close to your heart.

Maybe one day one of your kids will ask, "what is that old watch?"

You're spot on. It was like Christmas when they gave it to me. I kept saying thank you over and over. They were genuinely happy at my excitement.
