Split-Time wrote:Today was somewhat of a professional milestone. It happened virtually instead of with my peers and colleagues but I still wore this. One day I want my wife to tell our son, “this is the watch your father wore when he...” did whatever I did today. Who knows if he will be interested, but I will always know.

Mon Monday compliant as I still have not had the current speedy pro bracelet sized and I’m using a 1620/887 Speedmaster bracelet.

Congratulations on the professional milestone! Definitely a great reason to wear the Speedy. I, too, hope that my children will be imbued by my growing passion for watches, but if nothing else I’ll be able to look back fondly on certain moments with certain watches and smile.

Well done on the achievement!

I don't visit this thread often because I get confused about the compliances and I don't think I have anything that's actually compliant but I am a rebel what can I say?! I do want to say - nice watches and interesting pairings and contexts!!

Dub Rubb - happy birthday you feisty cat!

Don’t worry too much about compliance! We’d rather have you here, hanging out, and being part of the Legion than obsessing over watch compliance. Really, this thread should be viewed as a way to connect with fellow members and compliance is just a way to wear different pieces of your collection. Like Wednesday, I always now think to wear my Yellow Komandirskie for Vostok Vednesday. Stick around and join in on the fun!

Aww thanks. Do you, over time, just remember what's for a particular day or do you still refer to page 1? :D

I do have a vintage watch for vednesday...

Edit: Battery in vintage watch is dead.

No need to be compliant, we're all friends around here. Once you start posting you'll remember what watch is for each day. I happen to be compliant today. Tool watch Tuesday.

Thanks, I'm really enjoying it and don't mind it being 43mm. I'd prefer the 38mm, but whatever. I actually get a lot of complements from random people when I wear this one.

Happy actual birthday!

You should give it a try. As others have said, we don’t take the compliance stuff seriously at all. What I enjoy is that the Legion gives me a reason to wear pieces that I may not otherwise. We make things up, too. For example, here is blue post it note compliance.
