It's time for another giveway and this one is OPEN TO EVERYONE!



Our talented Brand Showcase member [mention]trinhlemai[/mention] has generously offered a couple of her custom made straps to give to our community.

This month's giveaway is open to ALL registered members of the forum
(excluding [mention]ManOnTime[/mention], [mention]watchpalooza[/mention] , and [mention]TheJohnP[/mention]).

The giveaway will start NOW and run through 12AM EST Wednesday, September 30th, 2020.
The winners will be chosen at random, and the video posted on Friday, October 2, 2020.


To QUALIFY for the giveaway, you will need to REPLY TO THIS THREAD and SHARE TWO PICS:
1- Your favorite watch & strap combo
2- Your least favorite watch & strap combo

Only one entry per member, so choose your photos wisely!
j/k the quality of the pictures won't affect your chances to win.


Prizing will be given out as follows:
* One MOT member winner will pick a strap from standard leather types (cowhide or calf)
* One Inner Circle member winner will pick a strap from exotic leather types (shark, lizard, ostrich leg, stingray without pearl, python, salmon, or crocodile)

All new subscribers to Inner Circle will be eligible for the exotic strap, as long as you are subscribed during the giveaway period: 4PM EST Friday, September 4, 2020 to 12:00AM EST Wednesday, September 30, 2020.


After winners are chosen, they will reach out to Trinh to choose and customize their straps.

Oddly, both are not leather:

The OEM strap, seemingly natural rubber. It's the summer strap variant for me. I prefer it on a thick leather strap.



I like this combo for a variety of reasons: coordination, flow, comfort.

Favourite is the one on the Casio Databank cos my daughter made it for me years ago when she was a child around the time Rainbow Loom was in.

Least favourite is the one on the Svalbard. They say you get what you pay for, and I didn't pay much for this Lake House 2-piece before they went under. The cuts and finishing on that one is...meh. Love the one-hander the strap is on though.

Least favorite is tough but I’d say this

Colors do not compliment. The texture of the strap is too soft for the watch design. The strap itself needs some contrast stitching too.
