What is a "Seiko Epson YN55A movement?" Is it another name for an NH35? I have never heard of this. Have I been living under a rock or something?
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I really couldn't find anything concrete about that movement.
Thinking maybe an Orient calibre if Seiko Epson, but just a conjecture.

I've backed this - I actually backed their previous dress watch project and was blown away with the price : quality ratio so Ive put in for the 3 watch set for now since I couldn't decide between the blue or the white.

As for the movement, the way I understood it, Epson is under the Seiko umbrella but is its own company and they make the Orient movements.

OK I think I knew somewhere in the back of my head that Epson made Orient movements. I did not know they sold them to third parties like Seiko does. This seems like a good deal.

Epson actually sells a lot of quartz movements - they specialize in the solar powered quartz. But you're right, I don't really see their auto's very often.

Finish looks good on pics. Movement is probably a non hacking 55 series uses by Orient. Hard to find much info on Orient movements.

It is actually a hacking movement. Their previous model also had a small-second Orient auto movement with hacking as well. No complaints - has been running great since I've had it.

Here's a review of an Aries Gold (?!?) that uses the same movement.
