I have a similar two-tone Eterna Avant Garde (although admittedly I don't wear it often ), also purchased at bargain prices a year ago ($ 299 I believe). It also has the Sellita SW-200, which is inferior to the SW-300 on the ToMo one, but it's accuracy was decent (+ 4 s/d) the last time I wore it.

"Shipped AND sold by Amazon" guarantees authenticity for their brands as they are ADs for most that THEY sell themselves (Casio, Seiko, Orient, Citizen etc) -aka "shipped and sold" by them.

Of course, thereare ADs who sell on Amazon as well as third parties - our pals at RiverEdge come to mind.

In short, choose your seller wisely.

I read an article recently that said that the third-party sellers and Amazon all commingled their stock. So no matter who you order from your item gets pulled out of one big pile. What that means is that you may very well be getting a counterfeit from seller X even though you ordered from Amazon.

I have no idea how accurate that article was, or even where I read it, but it’s something to think about. YMMV.
