On Ebay there's this Certina watch--listed as "new with tags"--but by design looks old as the hills. (Disclaimer: I am not an expert on the history of Certina watches.) Unlike other Certinas, this watch does not have "Swiss Made" on the dial face. It does have an indecipherable (at least to me) signature on the dial (any Sherlocks out there have a clue?).

Anyway, it's $99.00.

...until I saw the date disc in the middle of the dial. Either it uses a very small caliber, or, if it uses a 2824, it is absurdly large.

It's a nice looking watch. Water resistance of 50m seems low and I'm not a fan a snapbacks, but for $99 that seems pretty sweet.
