Well sure, copying and pasting "JLC" every day is a breeze.
Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
Re: Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
It's still early on the last day of May where I am, but I'm pretty decisive about my watch for the day. What better way to spend a rainy holiday morning than coffee and data visualization?
Only four watches were worn more than once during the month: The newcomer Bulova Accutron, favorites Farer Bradfield and Unimatic U1, and childhood dream come true Casio CA53W.
Casio and Seiko dominate the brand tally at five each.
There are only three watches out of 46 that I haven't worn at all this year: Suunto Core (dedicated hiking and adventure watch), A Timex that was my grandfather's, and the Luch One Hander.

Re: Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
When I got the wite dial GS 9F watch I knew the Universa was never going to get much wrist time. I'm generally against just letting watches sit the sidelines and I was in the mood to make some big changes so the Universa left along with some others. The Universa, Tuna, and Ranger made up 46% of my wearing habits YTD and they are now gone. Settling in on a smaller grouping.TheJohnP wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 4:03 pmvaluewatchguy wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 3:55 pm

Re: Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
May isn't over, but I don't see myself putting another watch on until tomorrow.
Here's my tally. Be gentle, it's my first time.
I only counted a watch as "worn" if I put it on for longer than 5 minutes. On some of these, I wore them for multiple days and didn't count taking off to shower and putting them back on as a new instance of wearing.
A clear favorite in May. I wonder what June will bring.

Rado is that good, huh? I was looking at them this weekend.
Also I have to say you have a very eclectic collection. Pretty cool

I've been infatuated with Rado and Captain Cook for a long, long time. I was thrilled to finally get one. For me, it is just about the perfect watch.
Also, that's just scratching the surface of the weirdness eclecticness!

Re: Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
Still a few hours left in May, but I'm not changing out again. No surprise what got the most wrist time. I didn't even get the Duo until the 6th. No surprises elsewhere, but I did wear a few less than I thought I did and others more.
New to the club were the JLC, the Vario Trench, and Casio GBX100. I had a Mickey Mouse for a quick second, but that was DOA.
I sold off four watches without posting a single for sale thread. The Junghans Max Bill, Junghans Meister Driver, CW Bronze Trident, and Seiko Alpinist. Kinda miss all of them, but they're on better wrists as I wasn't wearing them. The CW and Seiko are everyday watches on my co workers.

I think I'm going to try to wear 30 different watches this month.

Re: Monthly Watch Worn Tally Reporting
Another month has come and gone, so it's time for more fun with data visualization!
The G-Shock GBX was the winner for June, being worn 4 times. The Lunar Pilot and the Nighthawk were the only other repeats.
Brand popularity remains the same with Seiko and Casio taking the top spots
I've only been tracking since February, but still wanted to look at the top 10 watches at the half-year mark. This shows watches with the most wears as a percent of days owned.
I'm a little surprised the Keith Haring G-Shock made the top 10 because I don't feel like I've worn it that much since getting it. But the stats don't lie.

That is a really impressive rotation, if you call it that, for a month!Sussa wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:58 am Another month has come and gone, so it's time for more fun with data visualization!

Thanks!
