Yep, they produced some great tunes. Linger is one of my all time favs (I think they were barely out of their teenage years then). Sad that she's gone.

Many years ago, a friend made the best mix CD I've ever received and introduced me to several artists that I now love. This was the Dar Williams song he included that got me hooked:

It's starting to finally get cooler which for some reason made me think of Beach music today. I played this a few times while in the car with my 15 year old son who couldn't stand it. What can I say? The boy has no taste in music.



And I made him listen to this one as well.

I have not always followed his new releases. This one just came out today and oh gosh, I got hooked on it immediately. Beautifully performed.

I only know her from Pennyworth and had no idea she was a singer but this woman can sing..

I like her a lot, and that's a great performance.

Was listening to this while driving and somehow thought I should post it here... not sure why - I love the song but unless you're around in the UK in the 80s you might not know it as I am not sure if it got any airplay here in the US.
