Thanks, [mention]WPybus[/mention]. Alpina's models are usually too big for me but the 36mm! I'd be interested in checking that one out. It will probably wear smaller than my Longine Legend Diver 36mm because of the external bezel.

I was surprised and impressed that Alpina had gone for a smaller watch [mention]pdsf[/mention] just wish they could do it with some more of their watches, my Alpiner just feels so large!!! This new model certainly ticks boxes but unfortunately as it’s limited edition we won’t see a hefty discount in a year or so, but you never know!!!

I do prefer the date window placement of the 36mm version (related to the size of the movement I bet).

Another new Seiko 5kx coming. It's model srpe74k1, no idea on price or availability. I'm going to have to try buying one I think, I want to swap my srpd63 dial into this new watch.

Looks good if the dial has a gold color like on your pic. The video shows more of a brass metallic yellow tint.

Also revised to have 20mm lugs.

I really want to know how thick they are. Nobody seems to have mentioned it yet, but I think I saw a profile pic here and it looked slimmed down compared to the 5KX.

Seiko chronograph watches come in two colors, each with blue highlights to match the Sega logo. Both watches measure a comfortable 38.5mm wide and measure only 9.6mm thick in a steel case that’s water-resistant to 100m — one in an all-silver color scheme and the other in all black with contrasting subdials. Meant for video game fans rather than mechanical watch enthusiasts, the watches are powered by quartz movements.

Intended for the Japanese market, the watches are available from Sega for preorder now with availability expected for the end of August 2020. The silver model is limited to 800 examples with a price of around $400 while the black-coated version, of which only 400 pieces will be made, will be available at a price of $435 each.
