I also highly recommend Raymond at Clockworld for any watch repair needs. I brought in my Junghans Meister Driver Handaufzug because it was running 6 minutes slow a day. I dropped it off on a Friday and came back to pick it up the following Wednesday. It's now running +12 sec/day and he only charged a fraction of what other shops quoted me. Very happy that my first watch repair experience went so smoothly. I'll definitely be going back if I need to get any other of my watches adjusted.

The events sound great, but wonder if a standing monthly MOT get together is in order.

Re: The SF Bay Area Thread!
Did anyone get out to the Seiko event at Toppers? I missed it.
Re: The SF Bay Area Thread!
Nope, I am in the process of moving, so my original plan to go didn't happen. I am planning on going to future events though. Always a good excuse to look at watches and is one of the things my dad and I can do together. I look forward to meeting some MOT HUISABH brethren at a future event though!

Well, that's the womans birthday weekend, but I am sure I can come up with an excuse to make it happen. I mean her birthday is only one of those days right? Right?!? Eff it, I am in. I have some equity built up to make it happen.yellowbear wrote:Mark your calendars! Windup watch fair returns to SF April 26-28.

This sounds awesome! I've got to find a way to make it there, although with a 2.5 year old and 4 month old it's gonna be tough...yellowbear wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 1:02 am Mark your calendars! Windup watch fair returns to SF April 26-28.

Strap some watches to their wrists, grab the diaper bag and head on over. Not only do you get to see a bunch of sweet watches and hang out with your people, but you also earn brownie points with Mrs. Stretch for taking on so much responsibility!Stretch44 wrote:This sounds awesome! Hmmm... interesting idea! I just may do this, but leave the 4 month with the wife and bring the 2.5 year old. He's already got a Mickey watch that he loves to wear. He'll definitely be a WIS at some point... might as well start him early!
