As folks are going out to TJ Maxx to find the auto chrono, if anyone happens to run across any of the Alliance Mechanicals on sale, holler at your boy!

BostonCharlie, you ought to check the Frisco or Allen locations. I have a feeling those locations are more likely to have one if you're interested.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I plan to keep checking, but if anyone here snags one and isn't in love I would be interested.

I should try checking out the local TJ Maxxes, haven’t done so in quite some time.

Be careful or you will end up like me: no watch, and a bunch of random home goods instead

Weird that it looks larger in the photo than it does just looking at my wrist.

Found at the Maxx in Brandon FL.

Didn’t come with any paperwork. I set the date and time no problem. Anyone see anything in the paperwork that I should know?

Thanks for the heads up on this one. LOVE IT.

My, that is certainly a chunky monkey.... but I nominate this as deal of the year (so far). I don't think I've ever seen a 7750 based chronograph south of $200 before.

Congrats to those that snagged one.

Just want to share a tip that I learned during my search. I am in the new england area so not sure if this applies to other region but hopefully it helps.

I think the TJ Maxx that has high probability of carrying this watch is the one that is in high traffic or retail hotspot. Out of the 6 stores I went to, all the TJ maxx in the suburb had only fashion watches or didn't carry them at all. However, the 2 TJ maxx stores in the high traffic areas do carry the citizens and victorinox watches (only 1 store had it so someone else could've snagged the watch from the other one). Hope this can help you narrow down the TJ maxx store to visit.

Welp, it would appear that the Twin Cities metro has been picked over. Lame.

Although I struck out at the first TJM, I hit the trifecta at the second one! Unfortunately, I'll be returning the INOX, as there is a smudge on the dial (yes, the dial!) and while not terrible, I think it would drive my pseudo-OCD nutz! I'm on the fence as to what I'll end up doing with the Airboss chrono and as you may have already gathered by the strap change and me wearing it, the Alpnach is a definite keeper. Despite its several design niggles (i.e. too skinny hour and minute hands, too fat second hand, mediocre lume, running 15 seconds fast/day)...I'm just finding myself really drawn to, and really enjoying wearing, the Alpnach (and I only have one other black PVD watch, that being a quartz Luminox ANU).

Found a bunch of Citizens at one of the two San Diego TJM I visited, but no luck with the Victorinox.

Well this has been a fun daily. I'm surprised how well (and comfortably) it sits on the wrist despite the size.

Anyone go back to a TJMaxx yet to see if new stock came in this week?
