Sergio from Direnzo has announced his latest model, the DRZ 04 "Mondial," yet another Genta inspired releasse with integrated bracelet that seems to be very popular of late. Watches are currently under production so no Kickstarter this time. It will be a small production run so make sure not to miss it if it catches your fancy.

Standard model pricing:
Preorder price is CHF 599 (roughly $620)
Regular price will be CHF 720 (roughly $799)

Limited edition (Only 40 units) meteorite dial pricing:
Preorder price is CHF 750 (roughly $820)
Regular price will be CHF 870 (roughly $960)

The arrival of jet planes revolutionized the world of air travel, a Boeing 707 was able to travel from Paris to New York in eight hours with 180 passengers twice as many as a propeller-driven Super -Constellation, which took over 14 hours for the same journey. The DRZ 04 “Mondial” draws inspiration from this exciting time.

This watch is my personal homage to one of the greatest watch designers of all times: Gérald Genta, who designed iconic timepieces such as Patek Philippe’s Nautilus, or Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak.

The Mondial is available in five colorways, blue, white, green, grey, and a limited edition meteorite dial.
This model only comes with a date option, but color matched to dial, with exception of the meteorite dial featuring a red date wheel.

- Crystal: Subtle domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating
- Water resistant: 10atm
- Diameter without crown: 40mm
- Lug to lug: 48mm
- Height: 11.9mm (Including sapphire)
- Case back: Screw down with sapphire crystal
- Movement: Sellita SW-200-1 Elaboré with incabloc shock protection system
- Dial: Matte (white and meteorite) or sunburst fumé with applied indices
- Crown: Screw down
- Bracelet: 316L with scratch resistance coating (HV 800) 4 half links on each side of the clasp. screw down pins

Another update that may push some folks over their hesitation:

Your DRZ 04 Mondial will come with an extra folding clasp with 3 microadjustments and the proper endlinks so you can swap the butterfly easily in case you prefer to use your 04 that way. The extra clasp will come with the scratch resistant coating as well (and of course engraved logo)

Changes include:
- New colors: Light blue, red, purple and a new LE red Meteorite version (50 units).
- The case design remains the same, but now sports drilled lugs to facilitate the installation of the custom made rubber straps.
