Kind of crazy that they canceled so close to being fully funded.
Guess they were hoping for many more backers above and beyond the set goal to get this project off the ground.
Looks like the Scout has been revived as a pre-order direct from the Goodspeed website. Expected to ship May 2021. $160USD for the quartz model, $360 for the auto.

Or I am wondering if they only used KS to get the word out and gauge interest and once they know they have enough interest they quit that platform to avoid paying KS fees. All they did for the KS compaign can be used in their own compaign selling directly to folks.

Goodspeed is showing that both the quartz and auto preorders for the Scout have SOLD OUT.

Got this email from Goodspeed:
If you missed out on pre-ordering the Scout, you have one last chance, starting this Tuesday, July 27th at around 7:30am PST!
There aren't many left, but I will have each color variant in both quartz and automatic available. They will ship immediately.
