Thanks! If a mod wants to move it, that would be good. If so, please move AndroidIsAwesome's post about the STPs too, since it's quite relevant. I don't want to revise my own post, since I think it highlights how much of what I said was inevitably based on impressions that I couldn't back with solid data. AiA's input is very valuable in clearing up some of those gaps.

Re: 2019 New and Upcoming Releases!
More so reliability issues, I went over a lot of it last year on my zodiac thread, and some other members also experienced problems in theirs. Mine still changes the date as I screw the crown back in even though it was serviced by zodiac for 4 months.username wrote:Good to know, thanks. They are a bit of a mystery to me since they've been used so little so far, mostly by Zodiac and its owner (Fossil). Was it reliability issues, or timing problems, or both?AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 1:33 pmI definitely wouldn't put stp movements above any eta though. In my experience stp are trash and I will never buy another watch using one again because of all the problems with the zodiac jetomatic using the 3-13.

I changed your title slightly to better reflect that it could be a catch-all thread for movement info, and the thread is now a sticky.

On the NTH thread on WUS, docvail tipped everyone to the fact that his 3D rendering partner, Rusty Mahony, will be launching his own brand - Atticus.
https://atticuswatch.com/
From Rusty's first blog post:
The aim of Atticus Watch Company is to take the classic designs of the last few decades and add a tweak here and there to bring to the watch enthusiast a classically-sized 316L stainless case housing a Swiss automatic movement at a price that won’t break the bank.
No real details or information yet.
But I would expect that Atticus will likely be using some of the same vendors as NTH.
And the back of the case lists it is using a Sellita SW200.
Snagged these renders from the carousel on the main page:
As I am not a dive watch fan, going to be keeping an eye on this one.

That looks really good!
Also, if Atticus doesn't produce a watch called Scout I may just have to quit the hobby.

100M/10ATM Water Resistance
20-16mm tapered custom bracelet
Waiting on confirmation of the height... it'll be thin.
More updates:
Icarus is one of five models currently planned for the initial release. All five designs will be offered in date and no-date versions, depending on pre-sales numbers, of course.
