Help with Casio alarm spring needed - FIXED!!!!!
Help with Casio alarm spring needed - FIXED!!!!!
Without the spring, the alarm doesn’t work. I noticed the spring when I removed the casee back, but didn’t pay much attention. I did notice that the spring wasn’t sticking out very far and seemed to be held in somehow. I tried the spring in all the holes and the alarm still doesn’t work. No matter which hole I try it in, it sticks out much farther than when I first opened the watch. The spring is shown next to a standard Q-tip for scale. Help please!!!!

I am probably off base, but I'm guessing the spring might fit in the pusher and makes contact on the metal arm in the circle when pressed.
At least that would be my attempt.

It's been a long time since I've done one, but I think it is one of these three holes:
Piezo speaker springs are a PITA. In my experience, it's been a lot of trial and error to get them seated right.

It does not go to a pusher, but will fit into one of the holes vertically. My guess is one of these:

ManOnTime and watchpalooza,
Thank you both very much, the one hole common to both your suggestions was it. You guys rock! My watch now goes "beep, beep, beep"!
I was unable to get the little spring I found in the carpet into the correct hole... because it was the wrong spring! It was probably from a spring bar that came apart on me a few weeks ago.
After giving your suggestions some thought and looking at the location of the uncoated portion of the piezo speaker and the location of the smaller hole, I searched the carpet again this morning and actually found the correct spring. It's about 1/4 the length and about half the diameter of the spring bar spring!
