Roebuck Watch Co have launched their first Kickstarter for the new dive watch collection, the Scuba.
This isn't their first watch, as they successfully self-launched their first model, the Diviso compressor.

The Scuba will be available in three colorways - Blue, Grey, or Red/Burgundy

• Bezel: 120 click uni-directional sapphire with BG W9 lume, knurled finish to the sides.
• Glass: flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating to the underside.
• Hands: brushed with C1 lume to hour hand, BG W9 lume to the minute and second hands.
• Dial: sandwich dial with cut out stick markers with C1 lume, gradient with sunburst finish.
• Movement: Miyota automatics, 90S5 non date version, 9015 date version.
• Case: 316L stainless steel octagonal with brushed finish
• Crown: signed screw down crown with knurled finish and lumed ring.
• Case back: features a 3D artwork.
• Band: integrated two tone rubber strap.
• Dimensions: 42mm width minus lugs, 47.3mm lug to lug, 11.75mm thick, 20mm lug width.
• Weight: 120g.

It looks like we're not going to hit our funding goal. We put so much into promoting the campaign and everyone who saw the Scuba was wowed by it, so it's perplexing to say the least why it didn't continue strongly after the great start.
We are certainly not giving up—the Scuba is a refreshing design in a sea of dive watch look-alikes. To that end we are going to move to pre-orders directly on our website. Pre-orders will give us greater flexibility over a Kickstarter campaign.
We would certainly appreciate it if you guys would continue to back the Scuba. As it stands now, with the pledges received, we would be able to get manufacturing underway.
We need to do a bit of research to see what issues prevented people from backing us, therefore we will need a short period to get the pre-order set up.
We really want you guys to get your hands on a Scuba, and if you could send us an email to info@roebuckwatchco letting us know you will come over to the pre-order, and that you were a backer. Pre-orders are different from a Kickstarter and we will only be offering the same campaign deal to backers, i.e. pricing and free shipping.
Great news to finish - we have considered the feedback on not having a bracelet—so many people wanted one. We are going to offer a bracelet, at a small additional charge, as an option on the pre-order.

How the pre-order works:
Once sales are live, you will have the ability to order your Scuba(s) from the following page, which will go live at launch: roebuckwatchco.com/scuba-preorder
- You will be able to pick your design, date/no-date, and case (brown/black leather).
- We will also be offering our metal bracelets as an add-on.
Price Tiers: Sales will open with the price for the Scuba set to $400.
Once we move 100 pieces, the price will increase the $450, then to $500 after 50 more pieces move.
We will provide updates on the price tiers and be as transparent as possible with quantities.
Please keep in mind that quantities for all styles will be limited, so we suggest moving quickly on these pieces. We'll provide updates through email and social media for all backers to keep you updated! We will be putting all of these updates here as well: roebuckwatchco.com/scuba-backers. Please note this page will not be live until midnight tomorrow.
Shipping: We want to make sure you are getting fair and accurate shipping quotes, so we will be offering USPS shipping for your pre-order, which will give you a real-time calculated rate at check out. If you would like to use UPS or DHL we are happy to provide you with a shipping quote - simply send your preferred model and ZIP code to info@roebuckwatchco.com and we will provide you with a unique order code within 24 hours.
After you order: We will provide updates through social media, email, and the Scuba Backers page. Once products ship you will receive a tracking number in your email. If your shipping address or email changes between now and when the pieces are ready please let us know so we can update your account.
