I like the peace of mind of a one piece strap but there are occasions where I need to wear something dressier than a nylon strap. Are there any strap makers than offer one piece leather straps with traditional finishes? I see suede straps available but not a lot with dressier smooth finishes.

You’ll want to look for thin leather with small squared hardware, not the big round keepers and stuff.

Bertucci seems to get a lot of respect for their one-piece straps, though I haven't personally tried any. They have several leather models that might meet your needs--as long as you need 22mm

I have a Bertucci leather strap but it’s so thick it really only works on something designed for it. I can’t imagine it fitting many normal spring bar watches.

True enough...you'd need a generous case-to-springbar gap on the targeted watch.

Come to think of it, Clockwork Synergy has some in several colors. I have one like this (currently sold out on their site) and it's pretty thin (about 2mm but YMMV). But CNS would probably be your most thrifty source. Good luck in the hunt.

Geo straps on ebay stock several thin leather zulu straps which imo fit the bill. I own 3 of these and have been impressed with the quality.

Try searching with "Leather Single pass strap"...there seems to be many!
