Galvin Watches, by the Finnish watchmaker in Australia, will be releasing her next collection, Loimu, on March 5th through Kickstarter.
This will be the second campaign and the first was successfully funded.


Super, Super Early Bird pricing will be about $255

No word on delivery date just yet.

I grew up in northern Finland under the Northern Lights. The colours of the aurora have inspired this collection.
Loimu translates to "blaze" in English.

There are six colorways of the Loimu available.

















Specifications:

- Automatic, Miyota 9015 Calibre
- 10 ATM / 100 meter water resistant
- Screwed down crown with luminous effect
- Flat sapphire crystal with an AR coating
- Swiss super-lumiNova C3 luminous hands and hour markers
- Beautifully finished guilloche dial
- Stainless steel 316L case and an interchangeable bracelet
- Diameter 38mm

I enjoy seeing fun use of color. These look pretty good.

This is similar to another watch posted either in this forum or the new release thread where I commented that it was too plain and needs indices of some kind... Now I'm not so sure because something looks off here. (Just proves I don't know anything ) Are the numerals black?

Anyway if you dig the design $255 is a smoking deal for a 9015.

I agree with you, everything is right, but the final verdict : this design buggs me somehow. Indexes are definitely wrong. My opinion of course.

A stretch goal has been announced for the Loimu campaign.

Galvin will give every backer an extra leather strap if they reach 200 backers.
They're currently at 128.
