Heinrich Watches have canceled their Kickstarter and moved preorders of the Taucher II directly via their website.

Heinrich Watches, out of Stuttgart, have launched their second Kickstarter for their refreshed collection, the Taucher II, a unique dive watch inspired by the 70s.


Early Bird pricing for standard dials are around $866
Kickstarter pricing is around $929
Regular pricing will be about $1,137

Early Bird pricing for meteorite dial is around $1,045
Kickstarter pricing is around $1,110
Regular pricing will be about $1,317

Estimated delivery is February 2023

Taucher, meaning “Diver” in german, is a 1970’s inspired tool watch that has been carefully designed and thought out to capture the originality of 1970’s era dive watches by creating a high-quality timepiece with a true new and unique neo-vintage design and not just another homage watch.

Taucher 2 is the successor of the popular sold out debut from 2020. As also for the first Taucher, Taucher 2 has its inspiration from dive watches of the past but is a unique and timeless design on its own.

The Taucher II is available in six colorways with date or no date window - Black, Green, Blue, Cyan, Red, or White/Full Lume Dial.
Also a special edition with a meteorite dial featuring a lumed filled bezel ring.

This is super cool. That lume is crazy! And even the non meteorite dial is enamel. There are so many small yet well thought out details.. and for $866 early bird wow.

Dear Taucher 2 backers,

thanks a million for trusting in our project and supporting the Taucher 2!

However we decided to cancel the project on Kickstarter. Taucher 2 will move to a preorder phase on our website soon. We did not see the expected development like it would probably have been around 2 years ago. Reasons can be many: Taucher 2 does not comply / fit with average Kickstarter audience, wrong timing, global downturn, recession, Kickstarter project reputation issues caused by a lot of scammers recently, too less Marketing and/or too less Reviews, other reasons..

What we know is that we are committed to bring the Taucher 2 to life. Also with lower quantities, because we do not want to disappoint our small but enthusiastic fanbase who looked forward to get the Taucher 2 on their wrists next year and supported us here.

Moving to a own preorder phase on our website gives you as customer more peace of mind to get your watch. If not, we are legally obliged to refund you, which is not the case with Kickstarter and somehow lead to a lot of scamming projects on Kickstarter.

If the quality of the version 1 is anything to go by this should be really good. I was really impressed with that when I reviewed it a while back.
