The perfect combination of a vintage motorsport chronograph in a modern time piece. This re-released 40th anniversary (starting in 2016) limited-edition piece is one that Heuer originally released to celebrate Ferrari’s 1975 Formula One World Championship with the famous driver Nikki Lauda and the iconic Italian racetrack, Monza! It was the golden age of timepieces in the motorsports with the Ferrari sporting the Heuer logo during this championship season after the introduction of the first automatic chronograph movements not long before. This titanium PVD coated black cushioned cased Monza reminds us of some incredible days of past but just as important, it wears as a bad ass black watch with beautiful red accents. If this doesn’t scream “I love cars and appreciate all things mechanical”, I don’t know what does.
This watch is pre-owned set that comes with the TAG Heuer outer and inner boxes, manual and manual sleeve. It is in complete working order and keeping great time. The case, crystal and clasp are in incredible shape. The vintage motorsport style calf skin leather strap shows signs of use where the deployant buckle is connected (as you’d expect) but is fully functional and in perfect working condition. Also comes with a near brand new factory TAG Heuer orange rubber racing strap so you can change up the look!
