Limited to 300 pieces, this is simply a stunning, rare bird. The sunburst blue dial is quite extraordinary and truly commands the attention of the timepiece as a whole. Accented with cream hour markers, this sandwich dial presents complications in both a combination small seconds/AMPM subdial opposite its date window and in addition to a 10-day power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. For a 44mm case, and a typical robust 1950 casing, this offering is exquisitely balanced. The versatility in both navy alligator and rubber straps allows one to wear this casually or formally alike.
This set will present with its inner box, manual, booklet dated 2016 (S serial), strap changing tools, in addition to an extra rubber strap. The OEM alligator strap is best utilized with a deployment clasp; however, will be perfectly sufficient with its existing tang buckle. Some original stickers will also be included. The overall condition is very good with some minimal, non-specific wear. No discernable defects are noted on the crystal, case, or straps. Timekeeping metrics are also noted to be very healthy.
