Finally gotten around to watching Clint Eastwood's Richard Jewel, about the Olympic bombing. I thought it was good. Can recommend.

"The Take" with Idris Elba is pretty good for an action flick. I assume it was a French release before as half the movie is in French. I don't speak it, but I could get the gist of what they were saying.

Who needs dialogue in a good action movie anyway?

Showtime x BET has been showing Jimmy Cliff's The Harder They Come a lot lately.
Not only a good movie, but an absolutely killer soundtrack.

I watched "Ava" with Jessica Chastain the other night and it wasn't that bad for entertainment. For action flicks I always set my bar really low as not to be disappointed.

Hubbie Halloween was ok---for an Adam Sandler comedy. There were a lot of SNL cameo's in it.

Also watched "The Wrong Missy" with David Spade. It was pretty good as well. As I've said before, my expectation threshold is fairly low for movie entertainment.

My family stayed in Marblehead, MA last August (2019) while Marblehead was filling in for Salem for the filming of Hubie Halloween. Salem is only a few miles away. It was really cool because the town was decorated for Halloween in August. They closed the grocery store for filming while we were there.

Soooo, my wife and I want to watch it...and my five year old knows about it, but according to IMDB it has some "stuff" in it. What is your assessment? Pass on it for the kid?

Yes. For the five year old I'd definitely pass on it. There are some scary scenes. Well, they'd be scary for a five year old for sure. There are a few Corn Maze scenes and a Werewolf scene that could definitely cause some issues for the five year old.

Since it's almost Halloween, perfect time to rewatch The Witch.

Enjoyed, but not very recently...

Has anyone seen Primer?

I just recalled it thanks to TayTay's comment. If only I could go back in time and buy a bunch of cheap time machines.

As I've said many times. My entertainment threshold is low. I thought of this movie today and need to see if it is on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

"You know. The ships in the field. You've never heard of the little Baa, baa, baa's?!"
"Oh! Sheep."

Although I have to admit all these years I thought it was another word he was saying in the movie. And that just made it funnier to me.

I watched "Gridlocked" from 2015 with Dominic Purcell and was pretty good for an action flick.
