I bought that Monster for $126 off the deal thread years ago and gave it to my best friend back home. He’s a principal at a huge high school and he talks about how the kids love his watch.
I do, too!

Not necessarily a deal to begin with, but it sure ended as one...
In August I was looking at buying an srp315 Seiko monster. At the time I spent weeks looking on eBay, and came upon a listing for a "Seiko 5" but the image was a srp315k2. It was listed for about $190 brand new. It was also an eBay 20% sitewide day so I decided to risk it.
2 months went by and no sign of the watch despite many emails back and forth. Eventually got a refund, and a week later a package arrived. To my surprise it was a factory sealed srp315! Contacted the seller to pay them back but they refused and said to keep it.
So that's how I got an srp315 for free.
You win...Free is the best deal I have heard of - Wow that is a great story, thank you for sharing

I forgot about this one. Earlier this year Creation watches had 99.9% off all their Omega watches. So I ordered a Planet ocean for $20 lol.
Of course it was cancelled the next day...

I forgot about that. I ordered like 6 just in case it worked. Man I almost had most of my grails for under $200.

I posted a couple of years back, a Porsche Design Chrono automatic in titanium on a bracelet, for $460, I only got one, ( stock exhausted in less than 5 min).

I'm beginning to think this problem may be a hobby for me when I recall all of these deals like favorite moments from my favorite sports team.

Awesome price. Any pics? If not steal one from the internet for me please.

That's a great analogy. The weird part is, the feeling is very much the same! (This coming from someone who bought like 30 watch deals last year and had 2 teams win championships)

Not as great as some of the past deals, but my best was just a couple months ago, a Ball Fireman Enterprise for $450 from Gemnation.

The pulsometer was $79 if I am not mistaken.

Please elaborate a tiny bit on the $79 pulsometer for those of us not here long enough to remember.....The mido pulsometer?

Nice to see there is a "memory lane" watch Deals thread - I can add a few reasonably humble ones, rather than clogging up the current HUISABH! thread.
Mine is not a $99.95 Omega (sob)
https://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/heads ... st27895762
or a £79 Pulsometer but a £14 "diamond" EW9500-55A Eco-Drive. TK Maxx aren't great with descriptions, I'd assume like their US parent company TJ Maxx, so their loss was my gain. Just said "crystal eco-drive watch" in the description. Of course the diamonds will be useless little chips but, still, not too bad.

The £61.64 14285/BT11 Michel Herbelin Newport wasn't too shabby either, but I don't think they're considered that sexy a brand.
And I didn't buy this one, but the best recent-ish watch Deal I've posted was for this TW Steel Canteen TWCS31 U-Boat-alike at £39.99 from Argos ebay
https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tw-ste ... ay-3132689
Also, (originally mentioned on WUS) the Rider M002 (Seagull ST1701 movement) was circa £47. (The rotor got noisier after a fortnight, like a penny rattling/scraping around inside - turned out the rotor screw was loose).
Managed to open/tighten it and all was well, but the seller seagullwatchstore weren't much help - I'm still quite new to Automatic Watches, compared to most of you veterans!

I didn't get one, but that $15 swiss tritium watch. It sounded so ridiculous at the time I skipped the whole thing, not believing that anyone will receive theirs.
I didn’t get one at $15 (missed the coupon deadline) but I did at $40. It’s a very nice watch and well worth what I paid.

I think this was from BF a couple of years ago, IIRC??
Timex 3 GMT for $24.
I didn’t buy one but did eventually own the PVD version for a short time. Maybe not iconic but a good deal on a nice watch.
I bought one of those too, but it only lasted about a year before the GMT hand froze at 1:00 and hasn’t moved since.
I guess my best deal is the ‘free’ Seiko that Massgenie sent me via AreaTrend today. Even when the eventually get around to re-billing me for the $39.99 it will still probably be my best bargain ever.

I am so jealous. I literally tried ordering but they only shipped within the US. Glad you actually got it
