My brother had been looking for a 44mm Chrono from Victorinox a while back and the birthday watch I sent him didn’t work out. I saw a strange listing on eBay for 2 Watch Lot. I made a lowball offer of $50, which was accepted.

Victorinox Chrono Titanium 241089
It has an ETA 251.262 movement, which has been used in the aqua racer and Kon Tiki Chronos.


The lot also included this Fossil Chrono, which is just a bonus watch

I will admit that the two outside tracks look a tad odd. I thought it might be a slide rule at first glance and then realized they were just minutes and seconds in case we didn’t know those by now.

With all the codes and some Kohl's cash, I have this coming for close to $33 shipped.

Seems like a fair price for a trail watch since it has the nicer strap.

Just got confirmation that these beauties are arriving in late December.

The blue one is on the way. Citizen NJ0100-89L automatic from Duty Free Island. I've had my eye on this since it came out and DFI just got restocked a few days ago.

Just got the Crafter Blue blue strap with black PVD to go with my SRPD09 Save the Ocean Samurai. The blue is a good match for the watch. The black PVD keeper and buckle are darker than the case, but seem fine to me since they are on the opposite side of my wrist and look much better than a chrome buckle and keeper would. The strap is more comfortable to me than the standard silicone strap that comes with it. Admittedly, I'd be happier if this was a $50 instead of a $75 upgrade. It seems a little pricey just for a silicone strap. We know these must be cheap to make.

I'm a idiot and there's probably no help for me. Yesterday I'm cursing the world because I have to drop $6.5K on an unexpected home repair. I spent some time feeling sorry for myself and then rethinking my watch collecting habits (luckily I don't have any other frivolous spending habits). Then today here I am buying another Seiko. If I think I can get my money back if I wanna sell later on, I'll buy damn near anything I like. The thing with this one is that I pretty much already know I'm not gonna like it as much as my Orange Sammy. Time to sell my Goldeneye I guess. Anyway, Seiko Prospex Samurai SRPB55 incoming! Let's hope it has better alignment than the pic below!
