Decided to let go of my vintage 9K gold retirement Vertex. Just isn't bringing the joy I thought it would.
Bought in June, serviced and new balance installed in November.

- 30mm diameter
- 36mm lug to lug
- 10mm thick
- 17/18mm fixed lugs

Has a Revue 59 movement, which should date it to at most the mid 40s. This was presented to Lionel L.J. Rathbone in 1956.

Happen to notice that the dial of the watch says "Swiss Made," but there's a plate that says "Vertex Made in England." Any explanation?

I don't want to speak for @TheJohnP, but I believe it's because the case was made in England while the movement is Swiss. Vertex then assembled the whole thing in England.

That tracks.
The movement is definitely Swiss and the case is English.
