I don’t doubt it’s a good shop.
My question is with regard to their manufacturer warranties.
Anyone have any experience?
I’m wondering with a 1-year Oris warranty what happens if I try to register the watch with Oris.

Re: PurchaseDirect.com
It's my understanding that they're an AD for the brands they sell, so the full manufacturer warranty applies.
Really good guys to talk to, and they're willing to answer any questions (and entertain offers) if you talk to them.

Re: PurchaseDirect.com
I’m very happy with my purchase. Not exactly sure why my watch was considered 9.9 out of 10. I looked it over VERY closely….its flawless.
Re: PurchaseDirect.com
I purchased an Oris from them earlier this year. The watch came with the materials I needed to register it for the manufacturer warranty (I think it was a QR code, but I can’t remember with complete certainty). However, I was unable to actually register the watch on the Oris website.
The watch hasn’t given me any troubles so it’s not of immediate concern, but I don’t believe Purchase Direct’s assertion that they are ADs for any of the watches they sell. I consider them grey market.

Re: PurchaseDirect.com
I may be being pedantic, but Purchase Direct uses the phrasing of "Oris Authorized Reseller," opposed to Authorized Dealer.
Because if you search the Oris list of ADs, you don't see Purchase Direct.
Taking a look at one model available, they list it as having a 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty, whereas same watch on the Oris site list 2 years. Could be a typo or cut/paste. But also could distinguish that PD is authorized to sell older stock but not new Oris inventory.

Re: PurchaseDirect.com
Recently just bought Oris SWK from them. Need to get them to activate the warranty and the you would be able to see the valid warranty at Oris website. It was for 2 years
