A place for pictures of another addiction. To start, some from the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart.

Been to the Mercedes-Benz museum, so much to see!
The Porsche museum was also worth a trip.
I've got more Converse sneakers than watches, but it is a close race.

I'm sure I'll have a lot to add since car show/event season is kicking off here.

Here are a couple of older pictures of mine. This first one is from February when I attended the Merrill Ice Drags in Merrill, Wisconsin.

They create a 1/8 mile drag strip on a portion of a frozen river and have been doing so for 50 years. This '65 Mustang is purpose-built for drag racing on ice and will do 134mph in the 1/8th. It was a pretty awesome event to attend.

This next one is of a friend's Z06 advertising for an event a group of friends and I attend every summer; Powercruise. It's hard to describe just how awesome this event is. If you're in to cars, drag racing, road course, drifting, after-hours shenanigans, then this is a must-do event.

As of writing, that Corvette is under the knife to get upgraded bearings and crankshaft so he can spin more boost because apparently, 1,444hp isn't enough.

It finally dawned on me why your username has always been so familiar to me. In another life (on another site, LxForums) I'm known as TehKing. Always loved that car.

Before I get to the good stuff, I will post a few pics of my cars. The ST is my work car, so it has a 4ft A frame ladder, a 12 ft telescoping extension ladder and a gang of testing equipment in it. Not the smartest vehicle to work out of, but definitely one of the most fun. Here it is 3 wheeling in a customers uneven driveway, and side by side with my dad's hot hatch when I was visiting.

Here are the cars I own/my friends own. And yes, I had a trio of Jettas at one point in time. The red coupe has since been given to a good friend. The Calypso GLI (tealish) was my dad's, bought new in '89 and I went in the test drive with him when I was 3. I still own this and the black one.

Now for just some of the cool stuff I have seen since I have had this phone. Most of it at Sears Point aka Sonoma Raceway or it's parking lot.

The cool thing with all the race cars pictured, I actually get to see and more importantly hear them rip around the track.
