Hi all,

I have returned a watch to Gemnation for the first time. It was a $1600 Ball Fireman Glo so a substantial amount to be sat on my Card.

I have followed their process. I got my return auth and posted it back tracked.

Gemnation have confirmed the watch is back with them after I chased when tracking confirmed delivery and assured me a refund would be with me in 24 hours.

That was four days ago.

I know we get spoilt with the speed a lot of retailers refund so I have only chased once so far. Just wondered if anyone else on here had experience with returning stuff to them.

Purchase was on PP so that will only add delay to my card being refunded so I will probably end up paying some interest.

Appreciate any views as I dont want chase unnecessarily.

You do have to communicate with them. Years ago I head to actually file a PP complaint to get them off their butts.

I returned a watch a few weeks back to them. I contacted them a couple days after tracking showed it was delivered to them and they quickly refunded me.

Still had no response so have initiated pp claim. Frustrating as I would have preferred not to but it's a substantial chunk of change to be waiting a week on.

I did originally try to cancel the order pretty much immediately anyway but they replied 2 days later just after shipping saying it was too late.

Shame as it appears some have a much better experience

Cases raised and refund in 20 minutes.... frustrating but worked.
