Best part about these is they are relatively affordable. I found mine on ebay listed for $230 but offers considered. I offered $200, which was accepted, and it was during the time last year when ebay had a 15% off everything code. I do not have an online presence anywhere else (non-professionally, that is) so I figure that eliminates the big watch message board you referenced.
Field Watch Friday compliant (I think, but I posted it with a beverage just in case). So glad the weekend is upon us. Gearing up for Seiko Saturday, which is perfect since I am going to Benihana tomorrow. I may take a wrist shot at the hibachi and deal with the repercussions from friends and family. They just don't understand me.

Your post is actually what got this on the wrist today! I am not an expert on what constitutes a field watch, but the glycine has enough of that look to qualify (IMO of course).
