Fantastic! Such a good watch for the price. I admired @Rabirnie's for awhile before I got mine.
I'm glad to know where this all started :D . I never got Vostoks. "Everyone needs one," I would read over and over. Shopped online a few times and didn't see anything that I liked. Then I took notice of this model when you guys would post pictures. When I received @Dub Rubb 's traveling watch something clicked. So I bought a tankist and now this. Now I am done 8-) .

I'm even going to size the bracelet and try it. Or maybe that's the Jameson talking [emoji38] .
Definitely the Jameson talking! Who knows though, maybe the bracelets are better on some of the newer models. Now you have to do it. For science!

OK...for science!

Meh. It’s far from my favorite but I’m glad to have it. It is the easiest bracelet that I have taken on and off. The next time you see this watch there is a good chance that it will be on the rubber that my SKX013 came on (and came off of as soon as it arrived).

Oh, here is a Woodford Reserve just for compliance :)

A “wee nip” my butt! What were you drinking? That all looks delicious!

Believe it or not, it was only three ounces.

For Mod Monday I put this on a rubber strap that I purchased last year for my NTH Nacken. I tried the black Seiko rubber first. Black looked sharper but it left a little too much "tail" to be comfortable under a long sleeve shirt.

I hope everyone is OK and hanging in there!

Split-Time wrote:Rabirnie and Stretch44 made me do it! This just arrived today. I like it a lot so far. The yellow dial, the bezel and dome drew me in...but it also has an unique (to my collection) case shape that I had not noticed in photos.

Jameson for compliance.

Couple of days late here, but glad you pulled the trigger! It’s totally worth the peanuts you shell out to purchase one. You’ll really come to love the bidirectional bezel ending up in all sorts of states of direction based on how your shirt moved to turn it. The acrylic dome though, is my absolute favorite part. It just adds so much funkiness and vintage vibes. It’s also surprisingly a strap monster. I’ve had it on NATO’s, single pass, stretch NATO’s, and canvas in a variety of colors/designs. I’m a huge fan of the gray canvas Stretch44 put on his and will be picking one up at some point in the next few months. Now I’ve got my sites set on an Amphibia and trying to decide between the 710 or 090 case (or both if I can be smart about it). It’s a wormhole that I’m happy to have fallen down and probably one of the watches I get the most compliments on. Always great to see people’s reactions when I tell them it’s Soviet made.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Yep, that watch has been on more straps in the first 48 hours than any other, by far. I have it on another NATO and was going to wear it again today, but this shirt gave me a reason to wear my Q. Part of me feels silly for thinking about what watch to wear given everything going on, but I think I am going to be enjoying the splash of color that it brings.

Non-sense, this is how we can distract ourselves from the craziness of the world. ;) Whether that be coronavirus, work, or whatever... we all need an outlet and this is ours. I specifically wore my green Alpinist because it's St. Patty's day. Btw, that Q looks real good. I don't need another watch, I don't need another watch...

I missed today being St. Patrick's day, and my father's family is Irish  .

It's possible that I haven't been giving this one enough wrist time. I had forgotten how much I liked it. My wife is working from home for the foreseeable future and today she called me screaming because a faucet broke in our master bath and water was hitting the ceiling  . It took me longer to fix than it should have so I didn't wear this as much as I had planned.

And for you, my friend, Timex is releasing a 40mm automatic version 8-) . However, for under $170 (or whatever I paid) this is a no brainer if it interests you...AND, we know all of those spots are not filled in your new watch kingdom. At the price, your wife will probably thank you.

Thank me later!

Absolutely drool worthy. I love that Pi is on the bezels. I would probably turn the rotating one so that it was at about 3:14 or at noon.
